Travis Chan is a sophomore at Johns Hopkins University who is majoring in Computer Engineering and minoring in Accounting & Financial Management as well as Entrepreneurship & Management. He has always been interested in business and engineering, which is why he is so fascinated with technology startups. Travis has launched two small businesses before, one for versatile prototyping (www.VersaMaker.com) and one for electric longboards. Recently, Travis has developed a strong interest in blockchain technology and investing in cryptocurrencies. On campus, Travis is also a brother of Alpha Kappa Psi, the Co-Ed Professional Business Fraternity. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Travis hopes to enter the venture capital or hedge fund sectors and/or potentially launch his own startup.
