Theo will be graduating in May 2020 and is studying Biomedical Engineering and Applied Mathematics & Statistics. He is passionate about disrupting healthcare through the intersection of technology, business and design. He will be returning to BlueCross BlueShield Association (BCBSA) on the BCBS Institute team, a 10-person team lead by the Chief Medical Officer. There, he is undertaking a Product Management role to build out an Enterprise SaaS product and a Strategy role in launching a new Virtual Reality fitness vertical.
He previously served as the Director of MedHacks, the nation’s premier medical hackathon, that fosters interdisciplinary collaboration in solving the world’s most pressing medical problems. He also co-founded, AssistENT, which is developing the first nasal dilator suitable for daily use. He has aided the venture’s business development and strategy efforts, helping raise over $150k in seed funding and over $80k in non-dilutive grants.
In his free time, Theo enjoys listening to music, playing soccer, and reading.
