Patrick Stanley

Patrick Stanley (Hopkins '11 A&S) founded the Ellison Sunglass Company, at the time a philanthropic "1-for-1" model company providing cataract surgeries for every pair of sunglasses sold, in the spring of 2011. He sold the operation in 2013 at which point the company was rebranded to serve a high-end market, jettisoning the philanthropic angle. Shortly thereafter, Patrick worked closely with Andreessen Horowitz partner Louis Beryl to launch Earnest, a data-driven ender with a mission to build the bank of the future for the next generation by democratizing access to credit, and is currently working on business development and growth aspects at Earnest day to day.
