Maya Jabbour is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University where she received her B.S. in Applied Mathematics & Statistics, and her M.S.E in Financial Engineering. During her time at Hopkins, Maya was very involved with student life; she started and ran the Equestrian Team, French Club, and Italian Club. She has experience working with senior executives in startups to develop and implement business strategies and transform unstructured, incomplete data into actionable insights. As an intern at Zuora, an enterprise software company that automates billing and commerce, Maya worked closely with senior executives to develop pricing and growth strategies, and created improved KPIs to support company wide goal setting and process improvement.
In 2013, Maya started working with Sand Hill Angels, an organization of 100+ angel investors providing early stage venture capital and mentorship to emerging technology companies. Her contributions include analyzing company financials for prospective investments, performing due diligence and comprehensive market analysis, as well as deal sourcing.
Maya is currently a Business Analyst at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, working with senior management on high-impact, long term business strategies at the corporate and regional levels.
