Matthew Schwartz is a member of the JHU Class of 2022 and is double-majoring in Economics and Applied Mathematics, with minors in Entrepreneurship and Management and Financial Economics. Prior to coming to Hopkins, Matthew interned at a ride-sharing startup providing transportation for children and teens. In that role, he gained a greater appreciation of the importance of venture capital investing in providing critical financial resources for startups to grow. He is especially interested in real estate technology, fin-tech, and consumer facing ventures. This upcoming summer, Matthew will join the commercial real-estate team at Knotel. On campus, Matthew is also a member of the Marshal L. Investment Team and is the marketing chair for the Hillel Student Board. Matthew enjoys delving deep into exciting startups and has developed an interest in financial markets, which he brings with him to A-Level.
