Kevin Callahan

Kevin is currently the COO of Maggie Louise Confections (MLC), a luxury chocolatier in Austin, TX. In 2014, MLC was selected as one of Oprah's Favorite Things. MLC's focus is on making people feel special through story telling with unique and luxurious confections. Maggie Louise Confections currently serves online retail, events, and corporate/custom gifting (client list already includes brands like Hello Kitty, Jimmy Choo and JW Marriott).

Prior to MLC, Kevin cofounded and led the Innovations Group within MapMyFITNESS, Inc., a venture backed company focused on empowering the active lifestyle through health and fitness websites and mobile applications. MMF was acquired by Under Armour in 2014 for $150M.

MapMyFITNESS' more popular sites are and and its iPhone apps include NB TotalFit, iMapMyRUN, and iMapMyRIDE which help support over 30M (Dec2014) registered users. MMF partnered with media and enterprise organizations to provide interactive participatory platforms in which to engage their audience outside their traditional reach. (e.g., Humana, Aetna, TDF All Access for NBC Sports, NYRR Training for the NY Marathon, Virtual Bolder Boulder Race, etc.) Their SaaS platform was also utilized by technology partners to enable them scale into the wearables space.

Kevin is also active in the local technology / entrepreneurship community. He is a DreamIt and Techstar Mentor. He has spoken extensively on topics ranging from Entrepreneurship to the impact of data and technology on fitness and the businesses around fitness (i.e., Race Management, Wearables, etc.) . He has been a guest lecturer at the Johns Hopkins University.
