Beckie Cohen ’21 is double majoring in Applied Mathematics & Statistics and Economics. Before coming to Hopkins, she took a gap year in Israel and studied Jewish law. On campus, Beckie is the Vice President of the Jewish Students Association and works as a consultant for FinTLV, an Israeli FinTech accelerator, through TAMID at JHU. During the summer of 2018, Beckie interned at TrueFort, a cybersecurity startup, with the goal of better understanding how startups work from the inside. During the winter break of her sophomore year, she worked at Nexus, the early stage venture capital arm of Camden Partners, and will return for the summer of 2019. Beckie is looking forward to a career using technology to change the world.
