Alex has always been interested in the confluence of business and technology. A computer science major by trade, Alex seeks opportunities where he can leverage his quantitative skills to help businesses grow. Alex has led A-Level Capital since his sophomore year and has had the privilege of working with an incredible investment team focused on backing JHU’s most promising entrepreneurs. As an undergraduate, he’s pursued experiences ranging from software engineering to VC, and he spent the summer of 2017 working in technology investment banking. In Q3 2017, Alex sold his mobile application security startup, Fractal Technology, to a strategic acquirer. Alex also works with Sequoia Capital as an Ambassador to help increase Sequoia’s exposure on campus and to bring Sequoia insights to the Hopkins and Baltimore/DC entrepreneurial ecosystems. After graduation, Alex will continue investing in technology companies at the leading enterprise software-focused private equity firm.
